Last year while on a trip to see the International Show in Holland, a group of us went on a visit to the Ysselvliedt Stud, owned by Harold and Yvette Zoet. During this visit we were shown Fabris, a young stallion by Vechtzicht's Hywel out of Penvalley Cariad Fach and Stewart asked Harold if we could lease him. As Harold was interested in leasing one of our stallions, Springbourne Envoy, we agreed to swap for a season.

Fabris is an easy stallion to have. He ran out during the winter with some geldings but is equally happy now, coming in at night next to mares and going out on his own into a paddock during the day. He is at present teasing the barren mares and awaiting the first one to come into season, which hopefully will not be long. He has a lovely temperament and is a good mover like his sire and we think he should go very well on most of our mares.

We are hoping to show him later on in the season, after he has finished covering his mares but we will have a hard act to follow, as he has done very well in Holland winning several championships and neither of us can run like Harold and Yvette Zoet!!
