We bought Envoy from David and Lorna Reynolds as a foal in 2002 and from the word go Envoy loved showing. He soon learnt that a bath meant a show the next day and was a joy to prepare. He has always been a noisy boy but when he comes off the horsebox he lets the whole showground know that he thinks he is the best and will challenge any other horse or pony who disagrees. Fortunately for us it is only a verbal challenge and he has never disgraced himself by bad behaviour. When he was three we sent Envoy to Mike and Sue Harries of the Castlemead Stud, where he was successfully produced and shown.
For various reasons we did not use Envoy on our mares until 2007 but it was worth the wait. We have three lovely fillies and a smart colt. In 2008 envoy was leased to the Blackhill Stud and we look forward to seeing their foals by him.
